When Naomi* came to Stone House she was in a dangerous, abusive relationship. She felt unfulfilled and afraid for her life. With Stone House, she made the brave decision to leave her abuser. For many survivors, this is the most dangerous time–and for Naomi and her toddler, safety planning and finding a new home were critical.
“My advice to anyone experiencing DV or an unhealthy relationship is, you will get through it. It may not be now, tomorrow or next week but you will get through it. “
Today, because of Stone House and our generous community, Naomi and her son are safe in a new home. She’s focused on healing, continuing her education, and building a stable future.
